Towel Topper
Materials:
small hand towel (you can make 2)
worsted weight Cotton (50 g ball make 3 toppers)
4 mm hook
Instuction:
ch 30
row 1: dc in fourth ch from hook, dc in each st across, ch 1 turn (28
dcs)
row 2: sc in ezch st across, ch 3 turn (28 scs)
row 3: dc in each st across, ch 1 turn
row 4: sc dec, sc in next 2, *sc dec, sc in next 2: repeat from * to
end, ch 3 trun (21 scs)
row 5: dc in each st across, ch 1 turn (21 dcs)
row 6: sc dec 10 times, sc in last DC, ch 3 turn (11 scs)
row 7: dc in each sc across, ch 1 turn (11 dcs)
row 8: sc dec 5 times, ignore last dc, ch 3 turn (5 scs)
row 9: dc in each sc, ch 1 turn (5 dcs)
row 10: sc in each dc, ch 3 trun (5 scs)
row 11 to 26: repeat rows 9 and 10
row 27: dc in next sc, ch i, skip next sc, dc in last 2, ch 1 turn
(2 dcs, ch space, 2 dcs)
row 28: sc dec, sc in ch space, sc dec (3 scs)
Fasten off.
Fold towel in to 3, overlapping finished sides in the middle on the
back.
Sew topper to towel and attach button to row 7.
